about
Jazxing first went public on a Very Polish Cutouts release - which they shared with the always excellent, Eddie C - back in 2014. Since then the duo have graced their hometown, Gdansk, based Polena Recordings, and both VPC-offshoots - Maciek Sienkiewicz`s Father And Son Records And Tapes, and Zambon`s Transatlantyk imprint - as well as recently delivering a brilliant remix of Luca Averna & Chris Coco for Grant Williams` Eclectics. Jazxing now have a debut LP, Pearls Of The Baltic Sea, good to go, on Brighton`s Higher Love.
The 8 new original tracks play super authentic homage to the `80s Cosmic Classics found on Daniele Baldelli`s mixtapes, and early `90s Balearic pop. The productions betraying the pairs background, performing in reggae and new wave bands.
Due on September 16th, the album is trailered by the digital single, W Uścisku. With a chorus that translates as “I`m in your arms, hold me in your arms”, it`s a downtempo groover, a slow, acidic, shuffle, that features some very fine vibes virtuosity, and the passionate rock vocals of Kamil Kozlowski - of fellow Poles, Van Cyklop.
